what is wine for all time about?

If you read my first post, you know I am not a sommelier nor work in the industry. I am deeply passionate about wine and wants to share it with others. Taking that passion to the next level, I’ve completed the Level II Wines Certification through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and the Specialist of Texas Wine certification through the Texas Wine School. I’m currently studying for the WSET Level III Wines Certification. I want to make sure that I know what I’m talking about when I write Wine For All Time.

what does it mean?

When Erich, my husband, and I were deliberating what to name these new social accounts (@wineforalltime on Facebook and Instagram) to post our food and wine pairing photos, we wanted a name that says, “wine is timeless and classic”, “wine can be enjoyed by anyone at any time”, and “there is a wine for any and every occasion”. After a few glasses of tasty, fermented grapes during the great SNOVID-21 blackout, I blurted out ‘Wine for all time!’… and it stuck! By happy coincidence no one had used the name for social media accounts, web domains, etc.; it was a no-brainer.

what I write about

OK, so now I have a name!

Now, onto content…

  1. Texas Wines & Vineyards – Living an hour from the Texas wine country it would be a shame not to highlight the many producers and growers in this state that are making delicious wines.
  2. Wine Travel – Whether it’s to a wine-region, a winery, restaurant, or any other great place with a cool wine scene, I’ll take you with me and let you know what’s going on.
  3. Food & Wine Pairings – I spend quite a bit of time looking up dishes to pair with wine. When I find a great pairing, whether my on recipe or created by someone else, I’ll provide the recipe (or link), the wine to try with it, and let you know why the pairing works!
  4. Wine Musings – This will be a catch-all category for me to share my wine-related thoughts and educational tidbits as I continue my journey in exploring and learning more about wine.
